Our Journey

2025

  • Equip Up introduced an Equipment for Sale category, helping customers access surplus oilfield equipment from industry-leading Oil & Gas suppliers.
  • Earlier in the year, Equip Up Store was rebranded to Equip Up, reflecting a simpler, clearer identity aligned with our mission to support our customers’ success.

2023

Equip Up Store met the requirements of the State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program and was certified as a Minority Black-Owned Business.

2019

Became an official distributor of Tecpesa’s hot tapping and line stopping equipment and services for the pipeline industry in West and Central Africa.

2018

  • Started sourcing as a third-party vendor for Chevron Nigeria, Agip Nigeria, ENI Italy-Mexico, Oman Oil & Gas, and Eco Construct Cameroon.
  • Partnered with Tecpesa SA to deliver a major hot tapping and line stopping project for Agip in Nigeria.
  • Became an approved vendor for Oman Oil Company S.A.O.C. through the JSRS network.

2017

  • Began providing sourcing and procurement services as a third-party vendor for BP Exploration (Angola) Limited.
  • Became an approved vendor to the United Nations (UNO).

2016

  • Rig Up Store Ltd. was established in Cameroon as a supplier to multiple industry sectors.
  • In the United States, Rig Up Store LLC changed its name to Equip Up Store, LLC.

2015

Started sourcing as a third-party vendor for Esso Exploration Angola Limited and became an approved vendor for Addax Petroleum LLC – Cameroon.

2014

Created a centralized repository for surplus oil field equipment which later evolved into a sourcing and procurement hub for oil, gas, and petrochemical companies in Houston, Texas. Founded in Houston, Texas as Rig Up Store, supplying surface drilling equipment to the oil and gas industry.
